Differences, differences...
True, it should be our similarities that unite us.
But, in an age of prejudice, war and misunderstanding – an age in which systematic and institutional racism is allowed to flourish, unchecked by international groups, such as the UN. An age in which Islamic aggression is actively promoted, and is rarely condemned let alone tackled by moderates within the same faith group, it is also important to gain perspective through some of the differences evidenced by these two people groups.
There are, indeed, numerous differences between Jews and Muslims, not just religious differences. These differences should be taken into account when forming opinions about the Jewish people. These differences should be taken into account before adopting the common and anti-Semitic assumptions that the Jews are ‘worthless’, ‘guilty until proven innocent’ and generally add little value to modern society.
Not Anti-Muslim, or Anti-Arab
The information you are about to read is not intended as a slant against all Muslims, or against the Arab peoples. It is simply offered as a gauge by which we can all get some perspective and help form our opinions on a larger, perhaps more objective scale.
It is intended as food for thought for all who have an open mind to consider whether the Religion of Islam is really good for those who remain its adherents.
Jews and Muslims – Population Statistics
To help provide something of a context for this information, here are some population statistics to help you get an idea of the literal volume of people involved in these two people groups on the world stage.
- The global Islamic population is approximately 1,200,000,000 (one billion two hundred million) or 20% of the world’s population.
- The global Jewish population is approximately 14,000,000 (fourteen million) or about 0.02% of the world's population.

Emotive and Provocative, But True Nonetheless
The Jews are not promoting the brain-washing of children in military training camps, teaching them how to blow themselves up and cause maximum deaths of Jews and other non Muslims.

- There is not one single Jew that has destroyed a church,
- There is not a single Jew that protests by killing people,

- Nor have leaders calling for Jihad (Holy War) and death to all infidels (non-Muslims).
Some Questions for the Muslim Community:
Perhaps the world's Muslims should consider challenging the Islamic extremists within their communities to invest more in standard education and less in blaming the Jews for all their problems. Perhaps these extremists should ask 'what can they do for humankind' before they demand that humankind respects them.
