London's Mega-Mosque

Proposed for West Ham, east London 

So, do you fancy seeing a huge 'mega-mosque' being built just one mile from the main Olympic Stadium in our capital city? 

No, me either. 

To be honest, it's not simply about not wanting to see another mosque built in the UK to house the worship of the false god, Allah. No, it's all the more alarming when you understand the group spearheading the project and get to grips with their underlying motives and agenda. 

We need to raise our prayers to heaven as the UK comes under attack from an Islamic Jihad (holy war) on three sides – political, cultural and physical violence. 

"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."

Tablighi Jamaat

Tablighi Jamaat is a controversial Islamic sect who want to build the biggest mosque in Europe in West Ham, east London. Shopuld it go ahead, this mega-mosque would be less than a mile from the main 2012 Olympic stadium. 

Tablighi Jamaat is a global organisation with an ambitious agenda and practices that can be described as secretive and separatist in nature. It is based on a medieval form of Deobandi Islam, which itself is hostile to the modern democratic societies of the West. 

It is also closely associated with the Pakistan Taleban and although it frequently claims to be non-political and non-violent, these claims are at best a partial truth that hides their much deeper agenda.

There is a good website, which provides information about Tablighi Jamaat and aims to expose the “misleading rebranding campaign that is being driven by Tablighi Jamaat’s public relations agent, Indigo Public Affairs". 

In their own words, they say that their website will be “both respectful and reasoned, reflecting our commitment to diversity and to the democratic society we live in. We deplore both the grandstanding politics of mega-mosque supporter [former] Mayor Ken Livingstone at one extreme, and the hate-mongering of the political far-right at the other”.
