How's Your Heart?
Robin will be sharing on the importance of keeping our "state of heart" (not just our "state of mind") in the right place. This is a timely talk - especially in these days when we, Israel and the Jewish people are under so much pressure from those who would want to malign us, criticse us and bring us down.
The attacks can wear us down and often come from unexpected sources.
Robin's talk will be based on personal experience as well as other deep insights, based on Proverbs 4:27.
With his home and roots in Northern Ireland, Robin has lived and worked in England since autumn 1977. He was a student at Cliff College from 1977 to 1979, followed by two years with Operation Mobilisation when it was based in Bromley, Kent. From there he spent the next 15 or so years on the staff at Capernwray Bible School and Conference Centre, north of Lancaster. He eventually joined CFI-UK at the end of November 2004, and has been the Assistant Director for 3 years.

Obsession - Radical Islam's War Against the West (Video, Discussion and Prayer)
A film that will challenge the way you look at the world.
"I believe this is the most important movie of our lifetime, I was born in 1964, I can't tell you of a movie that I think is more important."
Glenn Beck, CNN Headline News
Almost 70 years ago, Europe found itself at war with one of the most sinister figures in modern history: Adolf Hitler. When the last bullet of World War II was fired, over 50 million people were dead, and countless countries were both physically and economically devastated. Hitler’s bloody struggle sought to forge the world anew, in the crucible of Nazi values. How could such a disaster occur? How could the West have overlooked the evil staring it in the face, for so long, before standing forcefully against it?
Today, we find ourselves confronted by a new enemy, also engaged in a violent struggle to transform our world. As we sleep in the comfort of our homes, a new evil rises against us. A new menace is threatening, with all the means at its disposal, to bow Western Civilization under the yoke of its values. That enemy is Radical Islam.
Using images from Arab TV, rarely seen in the West, Obsession reveals an ‘insider's view' of the hatred the Radicals are teaching, their incitement of global jihad, and their goal of world domination. With the help of experts, including first-hand accounts from a former PLO terrorist, a Nazi youth commander, and the daughter of a martyred guerilla leader, the film shows, clearly, that the threat is real.
Islam is being hijacked by radical extremists, who actively seek to destroy the shared values we stand for. The world should be very concerned.

Our Royal Wedding in Heaven
With Barry and Batya Segal
“He has taken me to the banqueting hall, and his banner over me is love… my beloved is mine, and I am his” ~ Song of Songs 2: 4 & 16

On the day of the Royal Wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton, we're going to take a look at the biggest Royal Wedding know the man - when Yeshua returns for His bride!
The Church has a high calling to be prepared as the Bride of Messiah when He comes, as so clearly outlined in Scripture. But can she ever live up to this calling to be the Bride of Messiah? What state is she in now, and will she be ready when he comes to collect her at the end of days?
Barry is a fantastic worship leader and speaker with a prophetic and discerning eye on the “signs of the times”. Join us to find out more about what it means to be a Bride and Bridegroom in Hebraic terms, and what it will be like to attend the biggest Royal Wedding in history. Your invitation has already been issued, but will you be there…?
Barry and Batya Segal are Directors of the Israel-based humanitarian aid organisation, VISION for ISRAEL. It’s a non-profit charitable organization established to help rebuild the nation of Israel, both spiritually and physically. VFI's most challenging work, "The Joseph Storehouse" humanitarian aid centre in the hills of Jerusalem, is the central focus of their ever-expanding ministry.
Their goal is to be a source of emergency assistance to the entire community of Israel, whether Jewish, Arab or Christian, desiring to be a channel of mercy through the distribution of a full range if items such as emergency medical equipment, food, toiletries, clothing and other necessities.

"The Growth of the Messianic Jewish Movement in Israel and Reconcialition between Jewish and Arab believers."
Ari Sorko-Ram - Maoz Israel Ministries

Ari will be speaking to us about the exciting events and new work of God in Israel and the Middle East as He is starting to bring about the seemingly impossible – the reconciliation of Jew, Arab and Christian in the love of Messiah. Not without significant obstacles, this is nonetheless a time of prophetic victories over the enemy’s strongholds in the region.
A man of varied backgrounds, Ari was a professional rugby player in France and played for the French National Rugby team and then signed as a professional football player in the NFL for the St. Louis Cardinals. He went to undergraduate and graduate school at the University of Southern California, studying psychology. He worked in the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department until he became a film actor. He has appeared in over 100 films and TV shows in Israel and the United States, such as Hawaii 5-0, Entebbe, The Finest Hour, and was a lead actor in TV series such as Chips and Sweating Bullets. He left Hollywood to return to Israel, the land of his forefathers, and became an Israeli citizen in 1976.
Ari and his wife Shira (who has spoken at Shoresh’im on two previous occasions) reside in Ramat Hasharon, Israel. They have two Sabra (born in Israel) children, and three granddaughters.

"From Moses until Moses, there was none like Moses".
With Daniel Nessim - Chosen People Ministries
This has been the saying among Jews for almost a millennia, but is it really true?
For three thousand years the Jewish people have waited for the fulfilment of Moses’ promise that one like him would someday arise to lead Israel. Who would be this Messiah? Two thousand years ago, Yeshua of Nazareth laid claim to this title. However, one thousand years ago Rabbi Moses ben Maimon stated ‘there has not yet arise and Messiah like Moses’.
Since his time the saying has circulated that ‘from Moses until Moses there was none like Moses’. This did not preclude the claims of others, including Menachem Mendel Schneerson in our lifetime, to be the Messiah. So who is the one like Moses?

"Unlocking The Bible's Secrets Through Lashon Hakodesh (The Hebrew Language)."
With Andy - Founding Director, Shoreshim Ministries

In our July meeting one of our founding Directors, Andy Wertheim, will be speaking on how we can better understand the Word of God by better understanding the Hebrew language.
There is truly an amazing new depth of understanding to be uncovered that will encourage and inspire you. We believe there will also be a new release of freedom in areas of our lives that have been locked away due to misinterpretation of scripture in both the Old and New Testaments, all based on a poor understanding of the language in which the Scriptures were first written.
Check out our page on learning the Hebrew language here, and if you can, try to learn the Hebrew aleph-bet before the meeting (you can download a copy of the aleph-bet at the above page). It's not mandatory, of course, but will give you a bit of a head start! :-)
