As Christians, we are indebted to the Jews.

After all, they gave us: the Old and New Testament; the prophets; the Messiah; the Apostles and it was the Jews who first spread the Gospel to the nations, many of whom lost their lives.

What is more, God has a plan to bring salvation to Israel and therefore it is worthwhile to be a part of God's plan as Israel's salvation and return to God will influence the spiritual and physical well-being of the world (see Romans 11).

So, as God blesses those who bless Israel and curses those who curse Israel - as touching the apple of His eye let’s take a look at what is happening in Israel for the spiritual revival of the People of God and how that affects us.

David Silver The Arab-Israeli conflict has been raging for over six decades - and this in its most recent form. It can be argued that the people of Israel have existed in a near continuous state of conflict ever since they were chosen by God.

David Silver is a well-known international speaker, scholar and congregational leader based in Haifa, Israel. He is well placed to bring clarity to an enormously emotive situation by looking at the Biblical and historiical evidence, whilst correcting mis-information and myth that has been built up over the years.

Media distortions are corrected and a balanced way forward mapped out for those who have ears to hear the message he brings.

Garth Gilmour Over the last 40 years or so the Holy Spirit has been sweeping across the Church in the West, bringing a fresh awareness of the prophecies in the Old Testament about the restoration of the Jewish people to their own land in these end times.

In the last 100 years or so we have witnessed the rise of modern Zionism, the Balfour Declaration and British Mandate in Palestine, the rising conflict in the land between Arab and Jew, the declaration of the Jewish State in 1948, the conquest of Jerusalem in 1967 and the return of Jewish sovereignty over the Temple Mount for the first time in 1900 years.

The restoration of the Jewish people to their land from around the world in the last days is one of the great themes of biblical prophecy. Isaiah 11 and 60, Jeremiah 31 and Ezekiel 36 are just some of the passages that foresee this glorious regathering, first in unbelief to the land and then, once there, in faith to the Lord.

This word has gone out to the Church with remarkable effectiveness in the last decades, and while many believers have seen what God is doing with the eyes of faith, others remain apparently blind or indifferent.

Yet now that the Jewish people are in the Land, we are beginning to see something new, something fresh, something very exciting happening. Jewish people are coming to the Lord, and he is fulfilling his word as he promised. But there is more – the Arab nations around Israel are being affected by this move of God, and many are getting saved.

I believe that the Holy Spirit is changing the focus of attention from the restoration of Israel as a single event to the restoration of the Church to himself as the One New Man that Paul writes about in Ephesians 2.

The Cloud is moving, and we who love Israel and the Jewish people need to pay attention. We have become comfortable, even over-familiar with the word about Israel’s restoration, but God does not stand still. We need to move with him to this new phase of his end-time purposes, to the restoration of the Church, his body, Jew and Gentile together, the Bride that He is coming back for.

Garth is a Biblical Archaeologist with over twenty years experience in excavations, research and publication. He received his MA from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1991 and his Doctorate from the University of Oxford in 1995.

Canon Andrew White Andrew will be sharing in-depth teaching with us from his time studying in yeshiva and also his wealth of experience of ministry for many years.

The Shabbat is a wonderful gift from G-d, which predates the giving of Torah on Mount Sinai, yet it remains ignored by most in the Church by years of incorrect teaching.

It is a privilege to have Canon Andrew with us to share his experience, studies, anecdotes and many personal testimonies of the blessing found in G-d and the glory of His Shabbat.
