Shomr’im, Hebrew for 'watchmen'
The Bible makes repeated reference to the important role of the watchman in the life of the people of God. One well-known reference can be found in the book of Isaiah...
"I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth."
Watchmen Today

We believe the role of the watchman is still important today. Moreover, the role is becoming more and more important as the pace of change quickens and as the Church and Israel face what would be overwhelming challenges, but for the grace of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
We believe it is essential for His people to be a people of prayer, a people who are alert, informed and able to interpret the unfolding situations in the world today.
Watchmen have a responsibility to watch, to listen, to interpret and to pass on what they see. It is ultimately the responsibility of each individual to decide what they do with that information.
If you are a watchman (or think you may be), if you are an intercessor (or would like to know more about this important role), if you want to make a real difference in world affairs, then we begin on our knees before the Maker of the Universe.
He knows all, sees all, and neither slumbers nor sleeps.
