  • Shoresh’im Ministries reaches an audience of 1,407,724,920 people around the world.
  • Interactive features encourage healthy debate on contemporary issues affecting today’s church.
  • News direct from the ‘grass roots’ in Israel uncover the true feelings of the Jewish people.

Our Jewish Roots
Shoresh’im Ministries (meaning ‘roots’ in Hebrew) is one of the UK’s fastest growing ministries and has now launched its own website at www.shoreshim.co.uk. The interactive site helps to advance the ministry’s three main aims:
  1. to promote the biblically Jewish roots of Christianity
  2. to highlight major issues for intercessory prayer today
  3. to provide an on-line community ‘forum’ for open discussion on major issues of the day
The site is open to anyone with internet access around the globe, affording an international reach to approximately 1,407,724,920 people having web access worldwide.[1]

Interactive Features:
The site offers far more than a simple 'shop window' into the work of Shoresh'im Ministries. It’s many interactive features include:
  • A Shoresh'im Teaching area, where you can read précis about the teaching topics on offer from the Ministry. It also offers specific papers written from a scholarly perspective but with an easy-access style for every reader covering a wide range of topics.
  • A Shomr'im-Watchmen intercessor's community area where you can get involved in sharing and comparing what you are hearing and seeing in prayer. This offers an open forum for serious praying people and interested observers, who may otherwise struggle to be heard in their local churches.
  • A Resource Centre where you can read book reviews of some excellent titles to help you in your own Jewish Roots and Israel studies.
  • A live 'news blog' direct from Tiberias in Israel, where you can also post your own comments, questions and opinions about the topics under discussion.
  • A News Links page dedicated to promoting other websites carrying good quality news about current affairs in Israel and the Middle East.
  • There's even a Glossary of Terms to help out with any Hebraic words that may be new to you.
Shoresh’im’s founder and web project manager said, “A lot of people are feeling really disenfranchised in the modern church. Not just in the UK, but in many nations. Our site aims to provide as many people as possible with a place to share their thoughts and stay informed about key issues affecting the world in which we live”.

There's certainly a huge amount to get involved in and to keep people coming back to the site again and again.
