Week One And My Head's Already Spinning
Well, I have just started an MTH in Messianic Jewish Theology - how exciting!
I'm looking forward to writing this blog on our main website and I really hope you'll be able to share some of my experiences with me. I'm not going to write in any particular style here, I'm just going to be "me" and write exactly as if this was a proper journal. I'll try to make my posts as regular as possible, but it'd be great to hear from you too.
My head is spinning already - and it's only my first week! I have SO much work to do. I need to read 4 books in 2 weeks and think I'll have more stuff set next week. Great to start though...is a great course.
It was a mad 24 hours there... but feel more settled from going now and getting some things in place. Could never have worked in my previous part time job too, as I'm gonna struggle to get my work done and still maintain things here at home.
The weather was okay to go last night, but it snowed on the last part of my journey. It snowed heavily once I was there, and I did wonder if I would get home today, but then it stopped. I got lost, so arrived much later than expected. The room I was given was huge, with a ceiling about 3 times the height of those at home, and it was FREEZING. I ended up with 2 duvets, 4 blankets, 2 hot water bottles (thank goodness I took them with me!) and my dressing gown on with the hood up.
I then I woke up at 3.30 AM, quite hot - though outside my bed was freezing.
The shower was cold too... so it was not a nice welcome after a bad night's sleep in a freezing room. However, people I have met have been lovely.
The course was good today, but my brain aches.
Speak to you again soon,
Natasha
