On Wings As Eagles
An intercessory prayer meeting was held on Sunday 27th July 2008, during which the presence and anointing of the Ruach of God was clearly evident.
In addition to some powerful prayers for Israel, the Islamic nations and the Church, a prophetic picture was received, as recorded below.

A Mighty Bird Of Prey?
A bird of prey, sitting on a gloved hand, was tethered and the tether was held by the same gloved hand.
A hood was over the head of the bird, to stop it from seeing, keeping it passified. The hood and the tether stopped the bird from flying, soaring to the heights for which it was designed - to which it was called. The bird was the church.
The hood symbolised the church being blinded to the truth, which keeps it from soaring and keeps it passive so that it doesn't even try to fly.
Indeed, the tether isn't even needed by the handler - the bird doesn't know to fly while the hood remains in place.
We need to battle through in prayer - especially for the heretical deception of Replacement Theology to be removed from the church in Witney, the UK, and worldwide. The truth must reign, and when it does the church will soar as she has always been intended to do.
If this mighty bird is unleashed and uncovered then all the current confusion about homosexuality, etc being debated in the church would be clear.
We will be free, we will move in the power of God's anointing and end-time purposes.

Not only is the UK 'church' clouded by replacement theology, it is also being mislead on other vital matters, this time by the 'head' of the Anglican church, the Archbishop of Canterbury.... who says.. hedoes not believe homosexuality and gay relationships are sinful, according to reports. Dr Rowan Williams apparently said in private correspondence that gay relationships could "reflect the love of God" in the same way as marriage as long they were lasting and faithful. The Archbishop exchanged letters with Deborah Pitt, a psychiatrist and evangelical Christian living in his former archdiocese in south Wales. Media reports quoted one letter saying: "I concluded that an active sexual relationship between two people of the same sex might therefore reflect the love of God in a way comparable to marriage, if and only if it had about it the same character of absolute covenanted faithfulness." The letters, written in 2000 and 2001 before he became Archbishop of Canterbury in 2002, reaffirmed his liberal stance towards the subject of gay relationships. His correspondence to Dr Pitt expresses his belief that the Bible describes promiscuity as sinful and not people who are homosexual by nature. He said as a theologian rather than a church leader he was more liberal on the subject, despite recommitting the Anglican Communion to its position that homosexual practice was not compatible with scripture at the recent Lambeth Conference. Dr Williams also expressed his wish that the Church would relent towards homosexuality over time. He said: "The Church has shifted its stance on several matters - notably the rightness of lending money at interest and the moral admissibility of contraception, so I am bound to ask if this is another such issue. "If I am really seriously wrong on this, I can only pray to be shown the truth." It is incredible that he asks to be shown the truth if he is wrong, while, all the time it is as clear as day in the Scriptures!!!
The hood reminded me of
The hood reminded me of Romans 11, which would make the bird the Jews and the hood their minds being hardened and their eyes dimmed. Rom 9-11 spells out a wonderful role and hope for the Jews whilst instructing the Church to honour them. I note that people who were at that meeting seem to have felt that the message was for the Church. Well, perhaps a reminder of Rom 9-11?

That's amazing, Margaret. What do you (and anyone else) make of the hood? I honestly believe it is the deception of Replacement Theology, and that it is holding back the church from the fulness of God's blessing. There can appear to be grey areas in the word of God as we try to apply His teaching and instruction (torah) to our lives, but He clearly says that if we bless Israel we will be blessed (Genesis 12:3, etc) - just like if we believe in Yeshua as our Rabbi, Master and sacrifice we are saved from the punishment for our sin. Clear enough, no?
the lord showed me a picture
the lord showed me a picture in the week it was before i read this. It was an eagle the eagle was set free it could fly but it kept coming back to what it knew as a safe place. i believe the lord says this is his church in this nation it has to move from a place in where it is at, and trust him to lead it into new things in the spirit.
That was an interesting
That was an interesting vision. I can see the hood of replacement theology is blinding the church. The revelation of the Roots of our faith I believe God is unfolding through people like Shoreshim, plus the outpouring that is being revealed through the likes of Todd Bentley and Co who too have that Revelation. I am watching that intensely, the teaching on the Supernatural over the past week or so is incredible and the opposition within the Body is equally incredible. God is bringing rapid changes from the two different directions that we won't be able to stop but it will sift,shake and shape us. I've had some dreams and experiences in recent months that confirm this. If we will just push past the restrictions and expectations of man and surrender to the expectations of God, we really are only a touch away. Reach OUT!!! TOUCH! The hood will be OFF!!!! It really is all about His Kingdom, His Glory, His Power on Earth as it is in Heaven. So be it Lord.
Many people believe they can
Many people believe they can free themselves by living in a 'secular society' with any need or belief in a God, however benevolent. They then think they can each do what is 'right' for themselves. But every single one of us humans, once we look only to our individual 'rights' and needs then we bind ourselves to a humdrum acquistive, self-centred existence. Which leads only to eventual dispair and captivity. Love, Faith, Trust and Hope are placed in our hearts, our very being when we accept Jesus as our Link back to ABBA Father God and the Way to True Freedom in Christ. We can fly, "soar on wings like eagles," when though the guidance of the HOLY SPIRIT RUACH we see the world and those around us with JESUS/YESUA'S love and compassion in our eyes, hearts and hands.
